Ryan calls upon his experience in strategy, network development, and external partnerships to help provider organizations navigate the operational, clinical, and financial challenges of an increasingly interconnected healthcare ecosystem. Ryan’s clients appreciate his ability to integrate a variety of analytics into well-structured, actionable business plans. Having worked at one of the nation’s top-ranked, not-for-profit academic medical centers prior to joining ECG, Ryan is passionate about developing best-in-class healthcare delivery models and processes that are also financially pragmatic.
Since joining ECG, Ryan has used his data-driven approach to develop solutions for clients across a variety of engagements, including health system strategic planning, academic health system design, faculty group practice design, research enterprise evaluation, and GME development. Examples of notable project work include constructing strategic plans and partnership models for pediatric institutions aimed at furthering the tripartite mission, designing an organizational structure and operating model to support the consolidation of several medical groups into an integrated faculty practice entity, and conducting feasibility and financial modeling assessments. Before joining ECG, Ryan worked as a senior associate in Network Development and Strategic Partnerships at Boston Children’s Hospital (BCH), where he contributed to the design of BCH’s national growth strategy and led the projections, modeling, and maintenance of the hospital’s national revenue budget, which exceeds $100 million annually.
