Jeff has been a strategic adviser to health systems and academic organizations for nearly 30 years. He advises health system leadership across a range of important strategic initiatives to achieve new visions that frequently change healthcare. In this role, he drives collaboration across stakeholders through well-tested strategic planning processes and strategies that make action and change possible and by listening to all stakeholders and supporting deep analyses. He is passionate about working with leaders to change healthcare.
His client base includes major urban multihospital organizations, national health systems, academic medical centers, community hospitals, and international clients such as UCLA Health, Providence Health, UCI Health, PeaceHealth, and Saudi Aramco. Jeff’s recent efforts included (1) developing a system-wide regional strategy and 10‑year market volume forecasts across three states to support a $3 billion, long-range health system capital plan, (2) creating a vision, strategy, and financial feasibility assessment for a $1.8 billion, innovative academic specialty hospital and advanced ambulatory center on a new campus, and (3) spearheading international developments that changed how healthcare is delivered and paid for in the country.
