Caroline’s experience holding roles within community health systems, private practices, and academic medical centers gives her a versatile knowledge base that clients appreciate when exploring opportunities to differentiate themselves in a highly competitive market. Having worked closely with executives, physicians, department leaders, and ancillary providers, Caroline understands the wide range of issues facing provider organizations and is skilled at building effective, synergetic relationships. Caroline’s project approach includes focusing on the big picture and supporting key initiatives with thoughtful analysis.
Before joining ECG, Caroline served as an administrative fellow at Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS). In this role, Caroline created a strategic plan leadership toolkit for 700 colleagues to help leaders champion the plan’s initiatives and implement the required changes within their respective departments. She also completed a gap analysis for high-level disinfection equipment at 11 of the system’s hospitals, ultimately validating a $1 million system purchase over a four-year period. Prior to HSHS, Caroline worked as a patient access specialist at Springfield Clinic, where she partnered with orthopedic providers to assess patient throughput, ultimately identifying the need to grow the department by 3.0 FTEs to support demand.
