As a full-service healthcare management consulting firm, ECG helps clients realize their strategic goals by delivering results across the following capabilities: academic healthcare; managed care services; performance transformation; provider financial services; and strategy and business advisory.
Blake has 10 years of experience in healthcare management consulting, specializing in compensation valuation and advisory work. Blake’s clients appreciate his ability to apply qualitative facts and circum-stances to quantitative data and analytics. He takes a personal approach to projects, establishing relationships with both junior staff members and senior-level leadership to ensure that he understands the people behind the process and that all work products can be defended on a stand-alone basis. Blake’s goal is to help organizations get the most out of their largest investment—their employees.
Prior to joining ECG, Blake was a senior consultant at Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., where he managed consulting services related to valuation, compensation program design and administration, and physician-hospital alignment strategies. His client experience is diverse; Blake has consulted for 6 of the 40 largest nonprofit healthcare systems in the US, as reported by Becker’s Hospital Review, along with small, family-owned private practices. Examples of his work include being the preferred FMV and CR consulting partner for Providence (51 hospitals, 1,085 clinics, and 120,000+ caregivers across seven states); managing the compensation design process for employed faculty and physician leadership at Atrium Health Levine Cancer Institute (25+ locations); and facilitating several alignment negotiations (professional and management services arrangements) for Children’s Minnesota, one of the largest freestanding pediatric health systems in the US (2 hospitals, 12 primary care clinics, 6 rehabilitation centers, and 9 specialty care sites).
