Zoe is drawn to the healthcare industry because of its vital role throughout every person’s life and its complex, challenging, and ever-changing nature. She is passionate about improving the lives of others by making our nation’s healthcare delivery organizations more efficient throughout their operational and financial facets. Zoe enjoys showing her clients how seemingly minor operational adjustments can have downstream financial impact on their organizations and create a smoother experience for patients.
Zoe’s work at ECG has focused on margin improvement initiatives for community healthcare organizations, whereby she and her team have reduced costs and increased revenue to foster financial health. She has also completed assessments related to emergency department staffing and revenue cycle optimization. Before joining ECG, Zoe worked at Cloudmed (formerly Triage Consulting Group) as a consultant, focusing on hospital revenue cycle analyses. She led comprehensive payment reviews to uncover insurance underpayments for hospital clients and pinpoint their underlying causes. To prevent ongoing revenue leakage, Zoe recommended changes that affected various parts of the revenue cycle, such as bill edits, CDM updates, and insurance contracting.
