Vasco’s diverse experience within the healthcare industry has positioned him with the knowledge necessary to advise clients on their transaction journeys and ongoing strategy. As a former biomedical engineer, Vasco takes a pragmatic approach to solving his clients’ most difficult problems. By analyzing complex data, deriving actionable insights, and executing tailored approaches driven by uniqueness and curiosity, Vasco seeks to push healthcare organizations toward an extraordinary standard for quality of care and competitiveness to spur on rapid growth.
Before joining ECG, Vasco worked at Cognizant, where he focused on management and strategy consulting within the medtech and pharmaceutical industries before moving into the healthcare provider space. During his time there, Vasco assessed quality and regulatory processes for a Fortune 100 medtech company and recommended and implemented process improvements to ensure compliance with global regulations. Prior to that, he spent time at McKesson as an IT project manager and data analyst in its US Oncology Network. At McKesson, Vasco managed and improved the quality of application data across hundreds of applications for more than 600 active oncology clinics and led the development and deployment of real-time reporting dashboards in Microsoft Power BI to help management assess the efficiency of IT operations.
