I've always aspired to have a meaningful career in healthcare. It is an industry that is full of complexity, is constantly changing, and directly impacts everyone in the country. Working for ECG enables me to help solve problems our clients face, all with the purpose of transforming healthcare to improve patient outcomes and build healthier communities.
Stefan calls on his experience working with hospitals, health systems, and managed care organizations to help his clients navigate a myriad of challenges. He has a proven track record of establishing meaningful, effective relationships with stakeholders from various functional areas and rallying team members around the common goal of improving patient care. Stefan’s close work with a diverse mix of back- and front-end roles—including physicians, nurses, executives, frontline team members, IT resources, and managed care health plan staff—has afforded him a nuanced perspective on operations and strategy that is valued by clinical and administrative personnel alike.
Since joining ECG, Stefan has been involved with multiple facility activation engagements focused on preparing clients for the transition of patient care to new facilities. He has experience leading multidisciplinary work groups to develop and refine operational planning materials so that staff are equipped with the confidence and competence needed to deliver care in a new environment. Most notably, Stefan coordinated and supported the training of nearly 4,000 staff who were transferring operations to a new site, which included developing instructor-led courses and e-learning modules. Prior to that, he supported a facility and capacity assessment project to inform the terms included in a joint affiliation agreement between three health systems in the Midwest.
