Hospitals and health systems are pillars in our communities. The work we do with healthcare organizations helps those pillars remain strong and continue to benefit our patients and neighbors.
Sarah’s diverse background in public health, interdisciplinary teams, and research affords her a unique perspective that is showcased by her ability to coalesce seemingly disparate factors to form one cohesive strategic direction. In an environment where fiscal constraints can make for difficult trade‑offs, Sarah strives to generate optimal solutions from limited resources, a trait highly valued by her clients. Sarah’s talent lies in translating complex ideas into accessible language rooted in thoughtful analysis.
During Sarah’s tenure with ECG, she has been engaged on projects such as creating service line and multihospital enterprise strategic plans for community and regional health systems, AMCs, specialty rehabilitation providers, and children’s healthcare organizations. Growth and diversification without compelling evidence for change will lead to poorer organizational performance, and Sarah is dedicated to supporting her clients’ strategic direction through intentional growth with clearly defined and analytically backed affiliations, ambulatory expansion, and optimized geographic reach. Before her time at ECG, Sarah was a research fellow at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease (NIAID). At NIAID, Sarah worked to develop a vaccine for the Nipah virus, during which time she quickly realized the challenges facing healthcare organizations with regard to the funding, prioritization, and distribution of large-scale initiatives.
