Through his more than 40 years of experience leading engagements in healthcare strategy development, facilitation, and implementation and working within some of the largest health systems in the nation, Scott has developed a deep understanding of the issues confronting providers today. In an environment where controlling and reducing costs is critical, clients value Scott’s ability to craft effective, implementable solutions and optimize internal resources to efficiently pursue measures to drive growth, reduce costs, and improve access.
At ECG, Scott’s work focuses on analyzing and resolving healthcare business issues, especially those related to strategic and capital planning, and developing new business and service lines for health systems, academic medical centers, community hospitals, and physician groups. He has led many strategic initiatives, including developing and facilitating support for hospital strategic and capital plans, creating strategic facility master plans, and structuring and implementing business ventures between hospitals and physicians. Prior to joining ECG, Scott was a director in a Big 4 healthcare advisory consulting firm and a director for Tenet Healthcare Corporation’s predecessor company. He is a frequent speaker and author of healthcare industry whitepapers and publications on a variety of topics.
