With over seven years of experience in healthcare IT and ambulatory operations, Rock’s expertise with EHR strategy and clinical workflows helps him deliver modern solutions for the organizations he supports. For each engagement, he brings extensive technical experience to deal with the challenges that leaders face in a rapidly evolving, analytics-driven healthcare landscape.
Since joining ECG, Rock’s work in transforming healthcare organizations through innovative technology solutions and efficient processes continues to expand. He directed clinical strategy projects for Baptist Health’s cardiology service line, addressing system integration barriers, improving physician EHR workflows, and developing a third-party application rationalization strategy under the organization’s new Epic-centered approach. Rock has also conducted multiple vendor selections and negotiations for large health systems, including cardiovascular modalities at Baptist Health, revenue cycle management at University of Maryland Medical System, and pharmacy wholesaler contracts at Infusion Associates. Rock also completed multiple workflow assessments in perioperative services, primary care, and FQHC locations, work that included the development of KPI benchmarking, revenue implications, and detailed next steps with prioritization recommendations.
