Before joining ECG, Richard worked at UNC Health as a strategy consultant focusing on transformation, clinical investments, and strategic growth. He oversaw and modeled a $2 billion capital plan, adding multiple new assets to the UNC Health footprint. As a member of the clinical investment committee, Richard managed an RFP process for $50 million in clinical funds for strategic hiring within the faculty practice. He also worked on a bed allocation strategy for the main medical center as part of the larger strategic plan. As a program manager, Richard directed five population health programs for the UNC Health ACO that directly contributed to $10 million in revenue received from shared savings models.
