Preye is an innovative, results-driven public health professional with a unique blend of experience in hospital finance, operations, program implementation, and strategic visioning. Her background working at the largest healthcare provider in New York, combined with her public health expertise, enables Preye to apply both analytical and systems thinking approaches to problem solving. This multifaceted perspective allows her to excel at identifying opportunities for intervention and translating research into action.
Prior to joining ECG, Preye served as the graduate intern for the Maternal and Child Health Bureau at the Maryland Department of Health, where she was instrumental in departmental program planning efforts and the development of standard operating procedures. Most notably, Preye synthesized best practice research and stakeholder interviews to produce a comprehensive report that was used to refine the mortality review committee’s approach to SME efficiency, participation, and wellness. Before that, Preye worked at Northwell Health’s Long Island Jewish Valley Stream Hospital as a senior management associate, directly supporting the CFO and CEO and overseeing the implementation of the hospital’s financial strategies and growth initiatives.
