Olivia has nine years of experience in physician compensation planning, administration, and valuation, making her a valuable asset to clients looking to rethink their payment structures and strategies. Her partnership with diverse clients at ECG has helped her develop expertise in creating and administering compensation structures that are data-driven and transparent. During her time previously working at an academic-affiliated, multispecialty health system, Olivia was exposed to various facets of physician compensation and understands the challenges leaders face when designing and operationalizing equitable and effective compensation methodologies that are also consistent with fair market value (FMV) and commercially reasonable. She is passionate about simplifying complex physician compensation processes and generating solutions that are easy to implement, easy to understand, and compliant with organizational and federal policies.
At ECG, Olivia has worked on a myriad of provider compensation design, administration, and valuation engagements. On an interim basis, Olivia managed the administration of provider compensation for multispecialty divisions within a multihospital system, collaborating with executive leadership to ensure timely, accurate, and successful compensation for staff physicians and physician leaders. Olivia has also provided numerous valuation and commercial reasonableness (CR) opinions for employment, professional services, administrative, and academic agreements for large multihospital systems, academic medical centers, and Critical Access Hospitals. Before joining ECG, Olivia led the valuation team for Ascension Texas, which oversaw the provider services valuation documentation for all employment, professional services, hospital, and academic affiliation agreements. Olivia and her team reviewed up to 1,000 physician agreements per year and created a best practice for Ascension Texas when addressing FMV and CR for physician arrangements.
