An experienced healthcare executive and professional registered nurse with more than 25 years of experience, Terri’s passion is to promote excellence in cardiovascular (CV) services, focusing on shared governance and achieving top-quartile performance. She is familiar with every level of a CV care team and assists CV leaders in designing innovative yet practical solutions to meet the increasingly complex challenges that health systems and clinicians face. Terri provides workable solutions to challenging issues, and she is known for striking a balance between pragmatic advice and innovative guidance, tailored to address the unique needs and market dynamics of each client. Prior to joining ECG, Terri served as vice president of consulting at MedAxiom, the consulting division of the American College of Cardiology. Before that, Terri was the heart and vascular service line administrator at Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare (TMH) for eight years. She has served in hospital senior leadership roles in quality/performance improvement, accreditation services, utilization/case management, medical staff services, compliance, nursing, and multiple clinical service lines. She also has executive management experience in numerous clinical and administrative functions in the acute care setting, including patient engagement, health information management, clinical laboratory services, and clinical imaging services. At TMH, a 772‑bed tertiary hospital and academic medical center, Terri was responsible for the strategic and operational management of the CV program, including an operations budget of over $50 million, a staff of more than 200 FTEs, and numerous capital expansions. Terri led the development of a regional CV network with six referring acute care hospitals. She also led a mature clinical comanagement program with a group of 19 cardiologists and CV surgeons in a PSA arrangement.
