Natalie’s diverse experience from 16 plus years in a complex academic-affiliated healthcare system has provided her valuable insight into the client perspective. She has expertise in physician compensation planning, operations, and market valuations. Having held several positions spanning medical group, network, and administrative services, Natalie has worked closely with service line leaders, physicians, executives, attorneys, frontline staff, and a wide variety of stakeholders on matters related to compensation, fair market value, operations, analytics, and strategy. She has a passion for problem-solving through the use of data and thoughtful analytics.
Prior to joining ECG, Natalie worked for the nonprofit health system Ascension Texas. As the fair market value manager, Natalie demonstrated leadership and initiative that were critical to the development of the health system’s fair market value division, establishing processes and policies and procedures as well as a reputation as a trusted adviser. Under her direction, the scope of the department grew from overseeing the medical group physician agreements to the entire network, encompassing sites of service in the Austin and Waco areas and all contractual agreements with physicians and physician groups, including Dell Medical School. While the number of projects increased by 65% in one year, Natalie and her team were able to keep external consulting costs level by growing internal expertise, seeking innovative solutions, and driving policy change.
