With a background in healthcare valuation and transaction advisory services, Michael is passionate about delivering work product deliverables that inform investors and internal healthcare professionals about the financial and operational performance of a health system. Michael has worked with hospitals, surgery centers, imaging centers, and urgent care centers to provide fair market value, fair value, and market study analyses for potential acquisitions, joint ventures, and partnerships. Michael understands the complexity of financial theory when projecting an entity’s future cash flows and regularly calls upon his in-depth experience to pinpoint assumptions that would generate a favorable value outcome for both the buyer and seller.
Prior to joining ECG, Michael worked for VMG Health as an analyst. During his time there, Michael conducted over 60 fair market value analyses for a range of provider organizations, including regional hospitals, physician practices, and ambulatory surgical centers; worked for the largest orthopedic value-based care organization in the country in concluding $55 million worth of personal goodwill that was attributable to each physician; and valued the cost to acquire eight urgent care centers in Connecticut at $15 million.
