MacKenzie is a passionate public health professional with over eight years of experience in healthcare consulting. MacKenzie’s demonstrated expertise in revenue cycle, patient access, and organizational change, paired with her collaborative approach to problem-solving and change management, has allowed for the successful implementation and optimization of solutions across a variety of client environments.
At ECG, MacKenzie has worked with a range of clients on performance transformation and technology initiatives. Most notably, MacKenzie developed the professional revenue cycle infrastructure and governance structure for a newly established medical group and trained administrators and leadership on the necessary policies, procedures, and workflows. In addition, she assisted with the reorganization of the healthcare branch of a national nonprofit agency to support sustainable growth, which included developing policies and procedures, defining roles and responsibilities, identifying technology and financial management needs, and aligning future visions across the company’s divisions. Before joining ECG, MacKenzie worked at Huron Consulting Group in the Performance Improvement Division, where she developed her expertise in revenue cycle and change management by partnering with a variety of clients to improve revenue cycle performance, increase profitability, and transform operations.
