As a public health professional with a wide range of industry experience, Kate brings invaluable perspective to her client projects. Her history working with quality-based payment programs and various provider specialties benefits her clients as they pursue enhanced managed care agreements and innovative payment models. Kate has utilized her attention to detail, analytical skills, and collaboration with senior leaders to develop unique solutions to complex problems. Having experience on both the patient and provider sides of healthcare, Kate has seen the potential for organizations to increase savings while improving patient outcomes, and she has developed a passion for guiding clients to realize both.
Since joining ECG in 2022, Kate has supported a variety of clients with contract negotiations, value-based readiness assessments, and managed care diligence efforts. Kate’s project management has spanned single-site behavioral health providers to community hospitals to multistate specialist groups. For these projects, Kate has provided end-to-end client services, including analytics and advisory support, negotiation strategy development, and contract negotiation facilitation for enhanced terms and up to 50% in cumulative revenue improvements. Most recently, she has had the opportunity to assist with several behavioral health projects ranging from establishing contracts for new children’s hospital facilities to expanding substance use disorder services across multiple states.
