Kevin has spent over 20 years working among the foundational departments of healthcare provider organizations, which is demonstrated through his deep understanding of provider contracting and its impact on the broader enterprise. In guiding his ASC clients through various reimbursement-related engagements, Kevin strives to ensure compensation structures are strategically aligned with the overall objectives of the organization. Combining his vast knowledge of reimbursement, experience within the payer environment, and affinity for value-based compensation models, Kevin’s work adds value to any healthcare entity.
Prior to ECG, Kevin worked for some of the leading ASC management companies in the country, including HCA Healthcare, United Surgical Partners International, Surgery Partners, and AmSurg. At each of these organizations, Kevin focused on enhancing revenue through effective contracting, which he did within multiple states and across various specialty types, such as orthopedics, total joints, spine, gastroenterology, and ophthalmology. Kevin also has experience in negotiating contracts for hospital-based providers and implementing value-based compensation methodologies.
