Kathryn’s work with a large integrated delivery network ignited her passion for identifying and implementing IT solutions to support clinical operations and strategic goals. An expert in optimizing clinical workflows and creating patient transition pathways, Kathryn helps drive her clients’ clinical strategies by creatively using software to achieve optimal operational outcomes. Kathryn has overseen several EHR implementations of various scales, all of which were completed on time, within budget, and with minimal go live issues. Her attention to detail, workflow expertise, and communication skills enable her to develop technical solutions for operational challenges.
Prior to joining ECG, Kathryn worked as a senior application analyst for Atrium Health, formerly Carolinas Healthcare System, during which time she led a team of five analysts in migrating 40 post-acute care clinical sites to Epic as part of the enterprise-wide EHR implementation. As a lead analyst, she was responsible for collecting clinical documentation and workflow requirements, designing and building the desired future state, and creating and training team members on new workflows. Before the Epic migration, Kathryn led the implementation of Cerner’s clinical case management module and a referral management partnering solution, naviHealth, at 11 hospitals and 250 post-acute sites.
