John uses his diverse healthcare background and strategic planning expertise to maximize value for his clients. He recognizes the critical need for provider organizations to implement the correct strategic plan to position themselves for long-term success in the ever-changing healthcare landscape. Having spent several years working on both the payer and provider sides of the industry, John is comfortable interacting with stakeholders at all levels, including executive and physician leaders. John employs an analytic approach to help clients gain a comprehensive understanding of their challenges and design and execute the optimal strategy from which they will derive the best outcomes.
John began his career at ECG as a consulting intern while he was in graduate school. During this time, he produced a valuation report to support the merger of two large physician practices and conducted due diligence for a large, private healthcare system to inform a market-entry strategy for its new joint venture. Before joining ECG, John held multiple positions at Kaiser Permanente. As a sales optimization and execution consultant, he oversaw regional sales operations, process improvements, and analytics, and as a sales operations consultant, he managed the restructuring and expansion of the region’s prospect pipeline and helped sales and account management teams achieve internal performance metrics.
