Johanna brings extensive experience and a well-rounded perspective from her time at the Permanente Medical Group and Kaiser Foundation Health Plan, where she served as a senior leader with oversight spanning primary care and ancillary services, including lab and radiology, for both outpatient and hospital settings. Johanna’s work focused on coaching department directors to achieve high performance results, including consistently meeting operational KPIs and driving sustained efficiency improvements and nation-leading quality. Most recently, Johanna led the comprehensive redevelopment of the wound care program for Kaiser Mid-Atlantic, which included redesigning the clinics’ scheduling and operational processes to realize a 50% increase in access to care for complex wound patients without the need for additional space or expanded hours. In addition, Johanna has consulted independently on a wide variety of projects for large medical centers and academic programs in Boston and California.
