Ivy Sandstrom, RN

Through her experience in both clinical care and business management, Ivy has witnessed firsthand the immense potential that lies at the intersection of these two worlds. Having spent time as an emergency department nurse, EHR consultant, and patient operations manager, Ivy is passionate about improving clinical outcomes. She thrives at creating holistic spaces where compassionate and patient-centered care, strategic decision-making, and operational excellence coexist.

Before joining ECG, Ivy worked as a patient operations manager at Invitae, where she partnered with pharmaceutical companies like Pfizer, Moderna, and AstraZeneca on initiatives aimed at generating improved outcomes for patients with cancer and rare diseases. She led a cross-functional team that was responsible for determining unique product solutions to drive clinical trial recruitment and onboarding. Prior to her time at Invitae, Ivy worked as a critical care and emergency department nurse and led an independent consulting initiative to develop the clinical operations structure and marketing strategy for a new infusion clinic, ultimately scaling the business to a 45% client retention rate.
