Ian Melder

Ian is a results-oriented consultant with a track record of finding valuable solutions through analytics. Ian is committed to bettering the US healthcare system by helping clients determine opportunities to improve clinical operations and financial sustainability. Ian calls on his background in revenue cycle, analytics, and project management to tackle complex challenges related to healthcare operations, finance, and performance. Ian believes in developing close partnerships with hospital leaders, providers, frontline staff, and other stakeholders to accomplish project goals.

Prior to joining ECG, Ian worked in customer success at a healthcare technology start-up, where he was responsible for helping implement automation technologies within large health system RCM workflows. He coordinated with hospital leaders, directors, and IT and revenue cycle teams to help facilitate four successful go-live events. He also partnered with data engineers to build comprehensive reporting dashboards to give hospital leaders insights into claims denial trends. Before that, Ian worked as a consultant at Cloudmed, analyzing revenue cycle risk for some of the top healthcare systems in the nation to identify millions of dollars in unrecovered revenue.
