I am enthusiastic about working at ECG in the increasingly complex healthcare industry because of the opportunity to collaborate with other individuals who are passionate about making a positive and meaningful impact in the lives of everyone who interacts with healthcare systems.
Erika’s experience working with various healthcare organizations is beneficial to clients as they consider innovative models of delivering and financing care. In an environment increasingly focused on controlling costs and improving quality, Erika’s diverse background in delivery, insurance, and public health is invaluable. She regularly collaborates with senior leaders, uses data to inform strategic decisions, and manages concurrent payer negotiations across multiple states. Erika’s keys to success are her analytical skills, attention to detail, and relentless dedication to overcoming various operational challenges during the contracting process.
Since joining ECG in 2017, Erika has assisted a variety of clients with contract negotiations by providing analytical and advisory support to help them understand their current managed care contracts and strategies for securing enhanced agreements. Most recently, Erika has had the opportunity to support several behavioral health organizations in establishing managed care contracts, including multiple national and multistate agreements with major payers. Additionally, she has developed meaningful value propositions based on clients’ competitive market positions, care delivery strengths, and proven clinical outcomes. Erika has also offered guidance on the healthcare provider credentialing process and executed agreements with competitive reimbursement to cover the cost of high-quality services.
