Having worked with health systems, provider groups, payers, and vendors to develop value-based care models, population health strategies, contract portfolios, and care delivery models, Catherine offers guidance to clients who are just beginning their value-based care journey as well as those with robust systems already in place. She has experience building accountable care organizations from scratch—developing the necessary population health infrastructure, including technology and care management staffing, to lay the foundation for long-term organizational success.
At ECG, Catherine’s work focuses on assisting organizations seeking to participate in CMS’s value-based care models. Clients appreciate her honesty and attention to their specific concerns as she guides them through the application process and helps them develop the organizational requirements and population health infrastructure necessary for successful program participation. Before joining ECG, Catherine worked for Advisory Board, where she managed a team dedicated to supporting clients’ care management and population health analytics efforts. Catherine and her team documented over $33 million in ROI realized by health systems via population health strategies focused on decreasing ED usage, shortening inpatient stays, and reducing costs for patients with multiple chronic conditions.
Catherine’s devotion to healthcare stems from her years leading a patient advocacy and support organization for women facing cancer. Patient health continues to drive and animate her work.
