Brian is a seasoned finance and accounting professional with a broad range of experience providing complex business valuations, audits, and attest services to provider organizations of varying sizes, scopes, and business models. Brian leads business valuation engagements in connection with controlling buyouts, minority shareholder transactions, and strategic planning. He has a passion for understanding the nuances of his clients and their business to offer creative, insightful solutions to help them reach their goals and solve their unique business challenges.
Prior to joining ECG, Brian was a director at RSM US, where he led valuation engagements for various purposes, including shareholder buyouts, capital markets readiness, and gift and estate tax planning. Examples of Brian’s work include performing FMV assessments of multiple neonatology practices in connection with successful buyouts by Children’s Minnesota, advising the owner of a home health and hospice agency on the appropriate sale price for a controlling interest in the organization to assist with exit planning, and determining the FMV of a rehabilitation hospital for the purpose of establishing the required contribution of each party forming a joint venture.
