Blake is a healthcare administration professional with more than eight years of business operations leadership experience at an academic healthcare system. Blake brings a deep knowledge of hospital, ambulatory, and physician practice operations, which he uses to strategically plan, drive process improvement, and deliver bottom-line results for his clients. He approaches every project with a desire to understand the big picture and ensure clients have the right tools to meet and exceed their operational goals.
Before joining ECG, Blake worked at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center (UCMC), where he held numerous operational leadership positions. As the director of radiology, Blake oversaw the operations, strategy, and finances of 185 FTEs, a $30 million operating budget, and $10 million capital budget. Notable achievements in this role include developing a system-wide imaging capital plan, which resulted in significant savings and standardization across the system, and leading the planning, design, development, and operationalization of numerous hospital imaging spaces. Blake also served as the business manager for UCMC’s bone marrow transplant program, where he was pivotal in developing the programmatic pro forma and creating the framework for accreditation.
