Healthcare is going through a period of dynamic change. Participating in the disruption of existing models, having continuous learning opportunities, and most importantly, helping organizations improve the health of populations, has been the driving force behind my decision to work in healthcare.
Alex calls upon his extensive background in valuation services, operational and business strategy, and provider compensation to help hospital, health system, and medical group leadership make informed decisions about their physician transactions and agreements. At a time of uncertainty in the healthcare industry due to a constantly evolving regulatory climate, clients rely on Alex’s valuation knowledge as they work to understand and adhere to the complex requirements related to provider arrangements.
At ECG, Alex partners with hospitals, physician practices, and health systems to conduct fair market value opinions and commercial reasonableness assessments of employment agreements, medical directorship positions, call coverage arrangements, and management services contracts. Alex’s niche lies in his ability to translate complex analytics into actionable insights, which is critical in his work helping provider organizations navigate changes to the Medicare Physician Fee Schedule and the associated impacts to provider compensation and expected revenue. Prior to joining ECG, Alex worked as a market research analyst and program manager at Kindred Healthcare, where he helped leadership create strategic plans, led advances in maximizing operational effectiveness, prepared market research analytics, and assessed clinical quality measures.
