Boston, MA—September 20, 2024—Two of ECG Management Consultants' leaders are in the spotlight after recently being recognized by separate industry publications.
Jessica Turgon, an ECG partner and leader of the Health System Performance Division, received a Women Leaders in Consulting award for Excellence in Client Service by Consulting Magazine. And Christopher Collins, ECG’s CEO, was named to The Consulting Report’s list of Top Healthcare Consultants and Leaders of 2024.
This is the 17th year Consulting Magazine has honored women consulting leaders. “The impact of women’s leadership on our profession cannot be overstated,” the magazine notes on its website. “We believe it is important to point out the success and leadership of these outstanding consultants as they make an increasingly profound difference for their firms, clients, future women leaders, and entrants to the profession,” the website goes on to say.
Turgon first joined ECG in 2003 after nearly a decade of industry experience. She has overseen the development of several practice areas over her tenure, including the expansion of ECG’s Center for Advanced Oncology, and was named Global Head of Oncology Consulting for Siemens Healthineers (ECG is a Siemens Healthineers affiliate), where advanced technology is blended with specialty advisory services to advance cancer care globally.
“I was introduced to a couple of instrumental women leaders very early in my career who had a profound impact on both my interest in healthcare and my confidence to lead,” said Turgon. “It is truly an honor to be recognized by the industry, and I would like to thank our ECG team for their continued support and engagement.”
Collins, meanwhile, joins a list of 25 top consulting professionals lauded by the Consulting Report for their ability to deliver strategic solutions that streamline operations while ensuring patient care remains paramount. In announcing its 2024 awardees, the New York City–based publication reported that the global healthcare consulting market is expected to keep growing at an annual rate of 9.5%, a reflection of health systems’ reliance on external guidance as they look for new ways to manage costs and improve efficiency.
“This was not something our firm participated in, but I very much appreciate the unexpected nod from the market on behalf of my ECG partners.” Collins said. “Consulting is a team sport, and I have been lucky enough to work for a firm for nearly 20 years where teamwork is the driving force behind our success—both with fellow consultants and with our clients.”
Collins, who has worked in the healthcare services sector for more than 25 years, previously led ECG’s Academic Healthcare Division and served as the firm’s president before being named CEO in April 2023.
